1965, Northside Intermediate School has served the children of Henderson ISD for over 43 years. It currently houses approximately 540 students in grades fourth and fifth. The Northside staff is dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each student. Northside provides a positive learning environment welcoming students, parents and community members.

On behalf of the Northside Intermediate  School administration, faculty, and staff, welcome to the

2009 - 2010 school  year!

  Northside Intermediate School is a phenomenal place where children learn, explore and grow together.  We are committed to creating a learning environment where children excel academically as well as socially and emotionally.  It is our belief that all individuals should be treated with dignity and respect.  Our outstanding faculty and staff strive to develop positive relationships with students and their parents in order to maintain our primary focus - what is best for students.

We at Northside Intermediate School recognize that parents are our partners and that our goals are shared ones.  Therefore, I invite all parents to play an active role in their child's education by participating in the school community, joining PTO, be an EAGLE, or by working as a school volunteer.  Most of all - you can help us by helping your children to study at home.

 My name is Dea Henry, and I have the pleasure and honor of being the Assistant Principal at Northside Intermediate.

We are looking forward to another great year at Northside.  We are lucky to have such a fantastic group of students and staff.  As educators, we are dedicated to supplying your child with the best educational experience possible.  We strive to maintain a warm, friendly, family focused educational environment where each child is valued, encouraged and supported to achieve at his or her optimum level.  We have an energetic, positive staff that is committed to assisting students with achieving their true potential.
